I had so much fun riding the 13 finalists for the 4 year olds this year.

As with previous years, the quality of horses was outstanding, and the riding and training these horses were better than ever. 

Being a test rider is an interesting job.  Rideability and future potential is the focus of my rides, and to ride young horses at such an early stage of their career is very rewarding. Some are weaker, some are small, big, others offer alot, and others are less established so I go on what they offer me. 

Several horses stood out for me, but Rose Mathiesens young Zuiden Wind gave me such a fantastic, balanced and focused feeling for a man of his age and size. I loved the feeling he offered me and would quite happily steal this horse from his rider Rose, who has done a super job with this young horse. I awarded this horse 10 for rideability and  9.7 for potential.. to give Heston for U the breeders championship.

The Overall winner was Emilie Nyreröd and Final Countdown.
