Deja double victory as Sweden takes convincing lead in Nations Cup after another team win!
Super proud Swede today!!!
Deja was fantastic this weekend in the equally fantastic Falsterbo. No question one of the best shows on the FEI calendar, I love competing at this great show infront of a great audience. Deja produced one of the best ride feels I have had with her in the Grand Prix. She flowed through her worked with elegance and ease to finish on top with a score of 75.543%.
The good feelings continued in the Freestyle, although it was sad to have the event on at 9am on a Sunday morning as its the crowd and the atmosphere that make this show what it is. But that did not take away from how it went in the arena, and Deja produced a fault free test with sweeping half passes and great pirouettes a highlight!. Deja won with a score of nearly 82% and the team went on to win the Nations Cup!.
Before we go any further a huge thanks to Toys Biggest Fan Alexandra Julia Ekerow for all her fantastic photographing skills over the competition!. Thanks Alex!
Student successes
Really proud of all my students over the weekend. Juliette and Antonia Ramel did a super job to help secure the Nations Cup Victory. Juliette produced a super Grand Prix on her second and developing young Grand Prix horse Wall Street to finish 3rd with 73.5% . A few mistakes crept into the Special, but the test showed grrat highlights and lots of promise to finish second with just under 72%
Antonia has really stepped up the game and is proving a rider the Swedish team can rely on. She proudest 2 very good tests, showing improved harmony and frame and really is ready to grab the even bigger scores.
Sofie Lexner has coming back after having her lovely baby boy Adrian on fire. Sof won the 5 year old Championships in convincing fashion with the amazing talent with a score of over 78%. With the Grand Prix gentleman Tobajo Pik Disney, Sof also did a super job coming 2nd in the Freestyle with 75.990% and also second in the GP with 70%
Last but not least is Outstanding Stables rider Malin, who did as usual a super job showing two of the youngest horses in the stables. Mlin finished twice second with the mega talented and expressive Honnaisseur SJ qwith a score in the final of 75.524%. Finishing in a clsoe 4th was Mlin on Bob Price's Django Unchained with a score of 72.905%. Both young horses did a super job so early in their careers!
